Kurt and Pam Graetzer, spent their free time helping the community’s neediest children. The Graetzers also served on the board of directors of the Children’s Academy of Southwest Florida, a nonprofit Bradenton preschool that assists economically challenged families with child care and education.
“Pamela was extremely passionate about the children and the school,” Her specialty was raising money for the nonprofit. The past three years, she organized a fundraising run on Anna Maria Island.
The final hands-on activity she did with the preschoolers was for Earth Day, Chaney said. They all took a field trip to clean the beach near the Moose Lodge on Bradenton Beach.
The couple had so much joy and kindness when volunteering and they put their hearts and their full commitment into their work.
